Story

"But if that happens... Odar will close his eyes forever." Odar noticed that the forest is recovering more slowly than expected, and decided to use up all his strength to speed up the process. Ecco tried to stop him, warning that doing so could cost him his life. Odar then shared an alternative path and asked you to recover the essence he once left in the care of Spirits. With that essence, he could regain his strength and help the forest recover more quickly. You recovered Odar's essence from the Spirit Temple and returned it to him.
