Story

"Someday, when we're truly freed from the Balaur... I hope they'll finally be released from their warped sense of duty, too." On Anguish Hill, the souls of the fallen legionnaires linger, unable to return to Odyle. You undertook to liberate the souls and learn why they could not depart this world. As you were liberating the lingering souls, you discovered writings on one of the corpses recounting a desperate struggle against relentless Balaur air raids, and their vow to defend this place to the very end. Perhaps when the Balaur are finally driven from Verteron, these souls too will find peace and return to Odyle.
