The Elim once lived in the Spirit Forest, but following the spread of the Dragon Lord's Poison Blood, they withered or fled to safer woods. Young Elim who failed to escape grouped together and relied heavily on Grisilla. Before Grisilla entered the roots of the Sacred Tree, she entrusted Reden with the key to Young Elim's hideout and asked him to care for them. Reden heard that the Poison Blood had been removed from the roots of the Sacred Tree, and knew the time had come to fulfil his promise. The Purifying Forest returned to how Grisilla remembered it, and was finally regaining its healing power. But just as Grisilla feared, remnants of the Poison Blood had seeped into the hideout. Though fearful, the clever young Elim had safely hidden within the barrier above the altar, just as Grisilla taught them. You quickly drove off the mutants and rescued the young Elim who had fled to the altar. "Grisilla cared for those who couldn't leave in time, and now we've decided to take over that role." Fortunately, Eirik agreed to look after the Elim as well. The Elim are half-spirits who have long lived in symbiosis with the Daeva. As per Grisilla's final wish, the Elim now live safely beside Odar and their new friends.
