Chapter 1. Land of Sand and Frost

Hello, Daevas. The biggest update yet has arrived — Chapter 1. Land of Sand and Frost. Two new homelands open up, a brand-new Fist Fighter class joins the fight, the level cap climbs to 50, and nearly every system — Stigma, dungeons, the Abyss, Inheritance, the Wardrobe — gets a major overhaul, capped off by a full class balance pass.

[Content & System]

New Zones

  • A new Elyos homeland, "Eltnen", is added.
  • A new Asmodian homeland, "Morheim", is added.
  • Completing the Verteron Traveler/[Altgard] Blue Wave Kelpina Hero quests unlocks a teleport portal in your homeland that travels to the new zone.
  • The portal can be used once you meet the required level, item level, and combat power.
  • Eltnen/Morheim are split into Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 and will be rolled out sequentially.

New Class: Fist Fighter

  • A new class, Fist Fighter (권성), and its dedicated Gauntlet (권갑) weapon are added.

Level Expansion

  • The maximum level is raised to 50.
  • From level 45, every level-up grants an Advanced Stigma Shard (Bound) as a reward.

Stats

  • New Frontal stats are added: Frontal Damage Amplification, Frontal Damage Resistance, Frontal Attack, Frontal Defense, Frontal Critical, and Frontal Critical Resistance.
  • Frontal stats are additionally applied via Soul Binding, Pet Affinity, and Manastones/Godstones.
  • The maximum cap on some stats has been removed (Stigma stats, the six base stats, attack/defense/accuracy/evasion/crit/crit-resist/block increases, and all Damage Amplification & Resistance items).
  • With amplification/resistance caps removed, the maximum damage reduction from Damage Resistance is now capped at 80%.
  • New maximum caps are added to some stats:
    • Movement Speed: up to 150%
    • Cooldown reduction: up to 60%
    • Mana cost reduction: up to 60%
  • The Critical stat's maximum proc-chance description is corrected from 50% to 80%.

Stigma Skill Level Expansion / Advanced Stigma Shards

  • The maximum Stigma skill level is expanded from 20 → 25.
  • From level 20 onward, skill levels are raised by spending Advanced Stigma Shards.
  • You receive 1 Advanced Stigma Shard for each level-up from character level 45.
  • You also receive 1 Advanced Stigma Shard when a Stigma skill reaches level 20; resetting that skill reclaims the shard.

Stigma

  • The Stigma reset cost is now free.

Party / Force

  • Party and Force sizes are changed to a maximum of 5 and 20 respectively.

Nightmare

  • Nightmare Layer IV opens with a new boss.
  • New boss accessories are added to [Nightmare → Exchange Shop → Statue].
  • Nightmares with no unlock condition can now be challenged straight up to stage 10 without clearing previous stages.
  • When a Nightmare is unlocked by meeting its condition, you may also challenge straight to stage 10.
  • In this case, clearing an upper stage also grants the first-clear reward of the stages below it.

Awakening Battle

  • A "Ruin" difficulty is added to Awakening Battles.
  • New Awakening Battles "Bedchamber of the Dead" and "Forgotten Storehouse" are added.

Expedition / Transcendence / Sanctuary

  • Reward-count and final-boss-kill-count limits for Expedition/Transcendence are removed.
  • In Expedition and Transcendence, leaving a dungeon after clearing it without claiming the reward now consumes a count. At 0, you cannot enter; counts reset weekly and are shared across characters on the same server.
  • Rewards from normal and elite monsters inside Expedition/Transcendence are removed.
  • Existing "Challenge Pass" and "Recharge Pass" items for Expedition/Transcendence are removed from inventory and storage.
  • You can now ride pets inside dungeons (mounting is restricted during boss fights and special-play areas).
  • With party size set to 5, Expedition/Transcendence allow 5 players and Sanctuary allows 10.
  • Some boss patterns were slightly adjusted to match the new party sizes.
  • The Odyle that drops after defeating Expedition Conquest (Normal/Hard) bosses is rebalanced for 5 players, for a total of 15.
  • The dungeon listing order in Expedition (Conquest) and Transcendence now shows the most recently added first, from the top.

  • Castle of the Fallen Deva Hard consumes 60 Odyle Energy; rewards are increased to match, and guaranteed-reward counts are adjusted.
  • Some dungeons now grant Kina (Bound) instead of Kina:
    • Conquest Normal — Fire Temple, Ferocious Horn Den: all Kina → Bound.
    • Conquest Normal — Dying Dramata's Nest, Cradle of Nihility: 50% of Kina → Bound.
    • Conquest Hard — Krao Cave, Draupnir, Urugugu Canyon, Vakron Sky Island: all Kina → Bound.
    • Conquest Hard — Fire Temple, Ferocious Horn Den: 50% of Kina → Bound.

Sanctuary

  • Challenge-attempt limits for Abyssal Forge Reward Voucher (Bound): Rudra and Corroded Decontamination Facility are removed.
  • The attempt-count condition is removed; the reward condition becomes the final-boss kill count.
  • Every Sanctuary's final-boss kill count is changed from 2 → 1, and rewards are doubled.
  • Sanctuary Odyle Energy cost changes from 40 → 80.
  • With the kill count at 1, the kills required for guaranteed rewards are halved; already-accumulated guaranteed-reward counts are halved (odd numbers rounded up).
  • Because the kill count is now 1, the target clear count for Sanctuary clear achievements will be lowered on July 8.
  • Abyssal Forge Reward Voucher (Bound): Rudra and Corroded Decontamination Facility: mid-boss kill rewards are removed; all rewards now drop from the Odyle Energy that appears on the final-boss kill.
  • Every Sanctuary's time limit changes to 2 hours.
  • A design is added to material-convert 4× "Equipment Change Voucher: Rudra (Bound)" plus 50,000,000 Kina from Abyssal Forge Reward Voucher (Bound): Rudra into a "Depths of Refinement: Weapon Selection Box (Bound)".

Shugo Festa / Dimensional Invasion

  • Events that ran in the field phase now all play in separate, dedicated maps; existing play rules are kept.
  • The NPC-dialogue entry step is skipped — you now enter the map directly.
  • On exit after an event, you return to your last position before entering.
  • Since no zone travel is needed, entering an event no longer consumes a Return Scroll.
  • The minimum contribution to earn rewards in "Protect the Shugo Merchant" is adjusted to 1,500 points.
  • The number of Monster Cube opens by Shugo Festa rank is increased — even the lowest ranks now open at least 2 (non-sub) / 4 (sub) cubes; the top ranks (1st–2nd) in "Protect the Shugo Merchant" open 3 (non-sub) / 6 (sub).

New Shugo Festa

  • A new Shugo Festa, "Shugo's Dilemma", is added — a game where you score points by gathering exactly the number of players shown on randomly generated platforms.
  • A new reward, "Shugo's Dilemma (Trace: Masterpiece) (Bound)", can be obtained from the event.

New Equipment Slot: Pendant

  • A new Pendant equipment slot is added.
  • Rare and Heritage-grade Pendants and Pendant enhancement materials are obtained from Eltnen/Morheim quests.
  • Unique-grade and higher Pendants are enhanced with Kina, Breakthrough Stones, "Dragon Essence", and "Radiant Dragon Essence".

Draconic Materials

  • Horn/Hide/Scale Draconic materials from Expeditions and Sanctuaries are consolidated into "Dragon Essence" and "Radiant Dragon Essence".
  • You can material-convert the Draconic materials you need from the two essences, and convert crafted Draconic materials back into the essences.

New Arcana Slots

  • New Arcana slots — Key, Hourglass, Dice, Lantern — are added.
  • This Transcendence offers Key and Hourglass Arcana; Dice and Lantern Arcana arrive in a later update.
  • Arcana are added to the "Prelude of Punishment", "Guarded Soul", and "Indomitable Will" sets.
  • These Arcana can be forged with 500,000 Kina and "Pure Crystal (Bound)" to lock in one option.

Abyss

  • 3 tradable / brokerable Medal Boxes are added to the Abyss.
  • Medal Boxes drop with a chance from Chapter 1 Abyss boss Merit Boxes or the new "Fierce Abyss Order: Mid Layer (Bound)".
  • "Fierce Abyss Order: Mid Layer (Bound)" is added in Chaotic Middle Reshanta Mid Layer — completed by defeating enemy-faction players, granting various Bound medals and tradable Medal Boxes.
  • With server rematching, Artifact occupation and the Abyss corridor are reset (check the CM Hideout for server matching info).

New Abyss

  • "Abyss Ereshulanta Surface Layer" is added.
  • Only characters at item level 4,300 or below or combat power 400K or below may enter.
  • Exceeding the entry condition during play forces an immediate exit and deducts 1 hour from the Surface Layer's base usage time as a penalty.
  • The Surface Layer holds up to 300 per faction (600 total) and, unlike the Lower/Mid Layers, has no Artifacts.

Per-Class Ranking Rewards

  • Abyss boss kills and Artifact occupation rewards change from overall-contribution ranking to per-class ranking, so more players receive rewards than before.
  • Medal rewards for Abyss boss and Artifact-occupation contribution are partly increased.

Season Mission

  • Medal rewards from Season Missions are increased, and some new missions are added.

Supply Request

  • "Abyss Points" and "Enhancement Stones" from Supply Request completion are increased.
  • "Soul Crystal (Bound)" rewards are added to the "Season: Crafting" and "Season: Boss" tabs.

New Equipment

New Draconic Crafted Gear

  • "Azure Dragon King / Doom Dragon King" armor crafting designs are added, made using "Radiant Eung-Dragon King / Gi-Dragon King" armor as inheritance material.
  • The crafting material "Rampant Dread Aura: Armor (Bound)" is obtained by material-converting the equipment change vouchers from "Lava Heart" armor or guaranteed rewards in the new Expedition.

New Abyss Gear

  • "Guardian / Archon Captain" armor is added to the Abyss Shop.
  • A design to inheritance-craft "Guardian / Archon Legate" armor into "Guardian / Archon Captain" armor is added.
  • Heroic-grade Belt of Nobility, Amulet of Revelation, and Amulet of Battle are added.
  • A design to material-convert Unique +10 Amulets/Belts into Heroic-grade Amulets/Belts is added.
  • You can buy "Amulet of Battle Enhancement Scroll (Bound)" at the Abyss Shop to enhance Heroic-grade Amulets.

Inheritance Count

  • Inheritance count limits are removed and inheritance now succeeds at a 100% rate.
  • Because inheritance is now guaranteed, materials previously consumed on failed inheritances will be retroactively granted starting July 8, based on play logs.
  • Advanced inheritance count limits are gone, and the maximum inheritance cost is fixed at 50,000,000 Kina.

Inheritance Crafting

  • Designs to inheritance-craft Unique-grade Draconic gear into Heroic-grade Draconic gear are added ("Radiant Hyeon-Dragon King / Jeok-Dragon King" → "Eung-Dragon King / Gi-Dragon King").
  • Designs to inheritance-craft Unique-grade Abyss gear into Heroic-grade Abyss gear are added ("Guardian / Archon Centurion" → "Guardian / Archon Legate").

Material Conversion

  • The conversion-restriction level for converting "Unstable Stigma Shard (Bound)" into "Stigma Shard (Bound)" is set to 45.

Arena / Battlefield

  • Co-op Arena participation changes to 5 vs 5.
  • Battlefield participation changes to 10 vs 10.
  • A new Battlefield type, "Sandstorm Temple", is added (the old "Cradle of Odyle Shards" ends).
  • Inside the Battlefield, all participants' stats are equalized; learned Mastery skills are forced to Lv.20 and Stigma skills to Lv.25 (you cannot learn new skills inside).
  • Battlefield win/participation rewards (Abyss Points and Medals) are increased, and "Fragment: Trace of Aspel (Bound)" is added to win rewards.

Monolith

  • New Monoliths are added in Eltnen and Morheim.
  • Find the scattered Traces of the Lord and resonate with a Monolith to raise its level for rewards.
  • A design to material-convert Unique "+10 Amulet of Revelation" into a Heroic "Amulet of Revelation" is added, enhanceable with the "Amulet of Revelation Enhancement Scroll (Bound)" earned from Monolith level-ups.

Field Boss

  • New Field Bosses are added in Eltnen/Morheim, with new masterpieces (Trace) and dedicated gear.
  • All players with contribution now receive an extra reward on a Field Boss kill.
  • A reward box yielding "Sync Stone Fragment (Unique) (Bound)" and gear is granted.
  • You can obtain the boss's "Masterpiece Trace" and material-convert each boss's masterpiece from it.

Hidden Cube

  • Hidden Cube rewards are reworked.
  • New: new appearances, new wings, "Mid/High Manastone", "Mid/High Godstone", "Radiant Gathering Material Selection Bundle (Bound)", "Lucky Kina Box (Bound)".
  • Increased rates and quantities for "Resurrection Spirit Stone (Bound)", "Soul Scroll (Bound)", "Soul Scroll: Reset (Bound)", "Mind Potion (Bound)", "Crystal of Life (Bound)", Theostones, and scrolls.

Black Cloud Trade Caravan

  • A "Radiant Appearance Box" is added — higher chance of Unique appearances than the existing "Appearance Box".
  • All item prices are reduced.

Previous Season Ranking Rewards

  • The effects of Season 2 ranking-reward titles and Pantheon accessories are removed (the titles/accessories themselves are kept; only their effects are removed).

Membership Event Pass

  • A Membership Event Pass is added — granted each time you subscribe to or extend the Quairing Premium Membership.
  • Extra passes are held in a queue and auto-activate when the current one completes or expires.
  • Pass count, progress, and reward records are managed per server.
  • If you held a Quairing Premium Membership before the July 1 update, passes are granted based on your remaining subscription at maintenance start, calculated as [remaining days ÷ 28], rounded up.

Broker / World Broker

  • A Gauntlet tab is added to the weapon category of the sell list.
  • For the Fist Fighter class, Gauntlets are recommended under Main → Recommended Gear → Weapon.

Wardrobe

  • Special-grade appearances become server-wide shared across your characters.
  • After consolidating appearances held by characters on the same server, exchange tickets are issued to the inventory (Cube) for duplicates. A single character is counted as holding 1 even if it owns multiples.
  • Exchange tickets are tiered by duplicate type: appearance (set) / weapon appearance / appearance (single) / "Deva Pass Shop Coin: Encore" (for pass-shop appearances).
  • Tickets are used at [Menu → Wardrobe → Wardrobe Shop] or via the shop's event appearance entries.
  • Achievement counts rise to match shared appearances.
  • "Cozy Rabbit" appearance items and uncollected appearances in storage will be converted to exchange tickets on July 15.
  • Customization expansion: customized Special appearances are also shared across the server; head accessories are added (equipped under Equip → Accessory tab); the Gauntlet weapon is added to the weapon tab.

Pet

  • New pets obtainable in Eltnen/Morheim are added.
  • Special-race pets become server-wide shared; after consolidation, exchange tickets are issued to the inventory (Cube) for the duplicate count beyond 1.
  • Pet exchange tickets are used at [Menu → Shop → Event]; uncollected pets in storage convert to tickets on July 15.
  • All shops now show owned/stored status for Special-race pets ([Owned]/[Stored] and [Cannot Purchase]); owned Special-race pets show as 1/1 even if not purchased.

Character Slot

  • 1 free character slot is added.

Legion Hideout

  • New Hideouts are placed in Eltnen/Morheim.
  • Rental/extension state is shared between a zone's hideouts — renting the Verteron Traveler/[Altgard] Blue Wave Kelpina hideout applies the same to the Eltnen/Morheim one.
  • Entry goes to the hideout of your current zone; the Hideout Return Scroll moves you to your current zone's hideout (1 scroll consumed as before).
  • Hideout-to-hideout travel: portals to each zone's hideout are placed inside. Traveling from Verteron Traveler/[Altgard] Blue Wave Kelpina to Eltnen/Morheim requires Lv.45, item level 3,300+, and combat power 270,000+. No Return Scroll is consumed for hideout-to-hideout travel.

Sprout Badge

  • A Sprout Badge is added, granted to new or returning users.
  • It activates when you enable the "New Soaring" Growth Support and subscribe to the Quairing Premium Membership; while active it grants a PvP-helpful buff.
  • It is removed once you reach a set combat power/item level or its duration ends; users without an active badge are classed as regular users.
  • Clearing a target dungeon together with a Sprout user lets regular users obtain "Small Odyle Energy (Bound)". Target dungeons are Expedition, Transcendence, and Sanctuary, with up to 14 weekly rewards per server combined.
  • Reward Odyle Energy scales with what the Sprout user spends; even with multiple Sprout users, you receive a maximum of 2 rewards.

Deva Express

  • Using a Garrison / Sealed Dungeon Deva Express item clears the set zone's uncleared Garrisons / Sealed Dungeons and grants their rewards.
  • Using a Trace of the Lord Deva Express item obtains all unobtained Traces of the Lord in the set zone.

Daevanion

  • The Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, and Triniel boards are expanded with new nodes and Daevanion Crystals; board resets for these four are provided.
  • Convenience: "Learn All Nodes" lets you learn a whole board at once if you have enough points; selecting an isolated node shows the minimum-point route and learns as far as your points allow.

[Class Changes]

A class balance pass — postponed from June 24 — accompanies the new "Combat Power System". Common: damage-taken-healing reduction in Arena, Battlefield, and Abyss zones is changed from 40% → 30%.

[Other Improvements & Bug Fixes]

Improvements

  • HUD Editing: resizing an unselected UI then clicking it no longer reverts to the previous size; changes are now kept.
  • Main Target UI: fixes some info not showing in Purple Streaming mode — target name, level, mark, and HP now display correctly.
  • Pantheon: using an item to register an accessory now auto-equips it if the current preset has at least one empty slot (otherwise it only registers).
  • Colossus: Guardian General Nahma's effect is increased — Justice [Nezekan], Time [Siel], Destruction [Zikel] 50 → 55.
  • Contribution: minimum contribution for the Odyle Energy Cube reward in Expedition/Transcendence is adjusted from 3% → 1%.
  • Quests: teleports are added to some steps of Poeta/Verteron/Ishalgen/Altgard quests; Verteron/Altgard episode and zone quest difficulty is eased somewhat; the Verteron quest "Non-Mainstream Profit Formula" journal location is fixed to "Drana Plantation".
  • Combat Power Meter: UI simplified; an auto-measure mode is added (toggle manual ↔ auto). In auto mode, measurement starts automatically when you attack a boss monster; up to 100 records are kept.
  • Boss direction marker: the rear-marker option now covers front and rear (Settings → Info Display → Combat): both / front only / rear only / none.
  • [Journal → Mission → Tasks] now shows up to 15 missions at once.

Bug Fixes

  • Expedition Dying Dramata's Nest - Hard: fixed boss Decaying Durvati (Specimen) using "Rising Poison Swamp" before "Poison Swamp" when its HP dropped very fast.
  • Sanctuary Corroded Decontamination Facility: boss Terminator Bargott's "Bagot, blow it all up!" pattern no longer wipes the party when only 1 bomb remains.
  • The drop rate of "Seed of Insight" from Shugo Festa is lowered from 100% → 70%.
  • The Abyss Point acquisition cap is adjusted to the million unit.
