Story

"A voice? That's the first I've heard of anything like that..." Kromede insisted on finding the Ascension Artifact, since it held the power to save the world. However, she was hardly the only one coveting it, as the fake Fate Archons under Dragon Lord Fafnir's command had already made their move as well. You set off to Nephra Snowfield in search of the truth, and met with Zebas—who had already been searching for Artifact fragments. After hearing that the search party sent ahead had gone missing, you rushed to the search site, only to be attacked by the now-deranged members and a mysterious Fate Archon. Upon defeating them, you recovered a fragment that seemed to echo with a peculiar resonance—and a mysterious voice.
